Pavement cafes, restaurants and small shops (particularly antiques and decorative wares) abound in this pedestrian area. The apartment is on the second floor of this 17th century building. Entry is via a stone staircase. All rooms are particularly bright and sunny with high ceilings and large windows, the property has been restored with care and attention maintaining many original features but including all modern comforts. It has been particularly well equipped with the perfect blend of modern and antique furnishings. The living room has a decorative marble fireplace, the full height windows open onto a small balcony which overlooks the square's gardens. There are two comfortable sofas seating six. Adjoining the living room is the elegant dining room with seating for six. Off this room is the study which has a sofa bed for overnight guests. Both the dining room and living room overlook the square. There is a flat screen television with both French channels and UK free to view. DVD player also available. The house is also equipped with broadband and Wi Fi for internet connection. A stereo system provides both radio and CD player. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed the other with twin beds which can be made up as a king size bed (please request this when you book) There is an ensuite shower room and a bathroom with separate WC. The modern kitchen is fully fitted with dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave as well as a range of small electric appliances. The property is fully centrally heated for winter lets. Linen and towels included, daily maid service by arrangement. Sorry no smoking.
