The chateau was constructed on the site of a middle aged fortress. It has undergone various restorations and improvements over generations and has been owned by several local noble families. The history of the chateau is reflected in the names of many of the apartments within the chateau and it's grounds. The present owner lives in part of the chateau with his young family and looks forward welcoming you to this fairy tale setting.

There are at present 16 apartments accommodating from two to six persons and also an independent house with private pool sleeping eight in four bedrooms.

Each property has it's own terrace or patio for dining. Guests have free use of over 50 hectacres of parkland and grounds, fitness room, sauna, outside pool, tennis court, billiard, mountain Bikes, table tennis, table football The chateau has it's own wine domaine and is surrounded by vines.

There are daily deliveries of bakery goods in time for breakfast, maid service and meal trays provided for an extra charge. The chateau produces it's own wine from the surrounding vineyards, wine can be purchased directly on site.

A laundry service is available on-site.

During the summer evenings a small restuarant with simple grills operates close to the pool area.
