The Property:

Chez Betsy is a detached architect designed house set in its own grounds of over 4,000m. From its elevated position there are far reaching views over the vineyards. Open plan rooms are simply but comfortably furnished featuring many of the artist owner?s watercolours. Large stained glass windows are a particularly striking feature. The house is spacious and light with the living room opening onto a large paved terrace ideal for sunbathing and outdoor dining. Entry is via a stone staircase into the entrance hall: A large bright double bedroom is off the entrance hall with French windows to the terrace and an ensuite bathroom containing a bath with overhead shower, wash hand basin bidet and toilet. A second toilet is situated off the entrance hall. The large open-plan living area is double height with sofas and comfortable chairs, dining table and chairs, it is also equipped with a television and radio. French windows lead to the large sunny terrace with outdoor furniture. The small galley kitchen has a gas cooker and electric wall hanging grill/oven. A steep open wooden staircase leads to the: Mezzanine furnished with a double bed and wardrobe and has a balcony with far reaching views. The living room also gives access to the basement area via a steep wooden staircase, there is a third large double bedroom. At this level is a large storage area where you will find the front-loading washing machine and a second fridge suitable for cold drinks. Children over 9 years only please.
