The Property:
The apartment is on the first floor level, with its own private entrance across a footbridge from the side road alongside the house. Views over the garden continue across the valley of Lodeve to magnificent hills and mountains beyond. Shops and services of Lodeve within 15 minute stroll from the house. The English owners occupy the main house and will respect your privacy at all times: unlimited access to full sized pool and exclusive access from 10-12 and from 17.00-19.00 daily. All rooms are spacious, light and bright. Master bedroom witha super king size bed and bedroom with two single beds, sitting/dining room with corner sofa unit, table chairs satellite SkyTV, DVD, radio: galley kitchen with electric oven and microwave; large bathroom with bath, shower, bidet and wc; washing machine and tumble drier; terrace with BBQ, table, chairs and sun loungers. Electric heating provided for off season holidays, enquiries for both short and longer lets welcome.

Lodeve is a typical market town with a wide range of shops and restaurants, there is a weekly market on Saturdays as well as a Tuesday evening market during the summer months specialising in local produce. Throughout the summer there are various events including a medieval fair and arts festival. The museum hosts prestigious art exhibitions each summer, past exhibits have included Chagall, Picasso and Magritte.
There is a public outdoor swimming pool, also a cinema which often has English Language films. The area has well marked walking trails suitable for all abilities as well as cycling trails. Lake Salagou is a ten minute drive where you will find safe beaches for bathing as well as bikes, sailing boats and wind surfers for hire. Horse Riding is widely available as there are a number of stables around Lodeve and Lake Salagou.
The Buddhist Temple Lerab Ling is close by and offers various retreats, its spectacular buildings are also available to visit each Sunday afternoon.
