The house is set in the grounds of a restored Manor with mature, established gardens. Excellent for country walks and cycling. ACCOMMODATION: Situated within the grounds of the large manor house where the owners are in residence. There is a separate entrance to the property with independent access parking. Exposed beams, stonework, stripped wooden doors and terracotta floors are all original features that contribute to the charm of this country home. The sunny, flower filled courtyard, with it?s fish-pond and fountain it's a perfect spot for sunbathing and outdoor meals. Garden furniture and barbecue available. Guests are welcome to enjoy the sunny terrace and formal gardens of the Manor house where the German owners, Horst and Hanne offer Bed and Breakfast accommodation in three beautifully appointed bedrooms. Entrance to the house is via French windows into the spacious kitchen/dining room. The well- planned kitchen area includes a mixed gas and electric hob, electric oven dishwasher and microwave. The room is particularly light and spacious. The dining area has a sofa, table and chairs. Satellite TV and CD player are available for your use. A stone staircase leads to the second floor where you will find two bedrooms. One with a king sized double bed the other with twin beds, with views over the courtyard to the gardens of the main house. Both rooms benefit from large wardrobes for clothes storage. The spacious bathroom has a purpose built shower unit, twin sinks and WC. NB: Linen is included in the rental price. Central heating for low season comfort.
