The Property:

Modern self-contained apartment attached to owner's residence, situated in a quiet cul de sac. The ground floor accommodation comprises a twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a sitting/dining area with corner kitchen. The appartment has independent access, private patio and parking area. Guests have unlimited access to the owner's full sized pool( 8 x 4m 1- 1.8m deep with roman steps) . Bob and Claire, retired guest house owners, are on hand to ensure the enjoyment of your stay and to offer advice on what to do and see in the region. The sitting room has French windows opening on to the terrace which features a range of garden furniture including sun loungers and barbecue. The open plan living area is furnished with comptempory sofa and furnishings. A television is provided for your use, it is equipped to receive both UK Freeview and French channels there is also a DVD player. Guests have use of outdoor table tennis table. The fully fitted kitchen includes electric oven ceramic hob, front loading washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer and a good range of appliances and cooking utensils. The bedroom has twin beds and ample storage including fitted wardrobe. The ensuite bathroom contains a bath with overhead shower, hand basin and WC. The apartment is equipped throughout with electric convection heaters making it an ideal year round retreat. electric fans are available for the summer months. Rental rates are inclusive of electricity, linen and towels. Non Smokers only please.

The Village: Paulhan

Paulhan is a 1,000 years old village with a historic 'circulade' centre. The surrounding area is noted for it's extensive vineyards and picturesque villages, each with it's own wine-making co-operative, and numerous sites of historic interest. Paulhan is particularly lively during the summer months with a number of street festivals.

The village is well served by shops and restaurants, there is a weekly street market and a well attended flea market every Sunday morning.

The historic town of Pezenas is a ten minute drive; here you will find a wider choice of shops, supermarkets. In particular Pezenas is known for it's large number of antique and 'brocante' shops. The Mediterranean coast is about 25 minutes drive and the impressive city of Montpellier is 45 minutes drive.
