Charming detached house with garden set amongst the vineyards.

The Property:

Originally a private chapel for the neighbouring chateau, this comfortable home offers all modern comforts whilst retaining its original charm. The house is very light and airy with large windows overlooking the garden and surrounding vines. The accommodation is on two levels. The ground floor living area has comfortable sofas for relaxing, there are table and chairs for dining and a corner of the room is set aside as an office area. Satellite TV with UK Freeview  TV and radio stations is available for your use. DVD & CD player available. The modern fitted kitchen is equipped with an electric oven with both gas and electric hot plates, under worktop fridge with ice making compartment and a microwave. There is plenty of workspace and storage for keen cooks. The washing machine is in a small utility room off the living area. The bathroom is also on the ground floor and has a bath with overhead shower, basin and WC. Upstairs there is a double bedded room with a second purpose built shower unit, on the mezzanine is a double bed which can be curtained off for privacy there is also a futon which could serve as another double bed for occasional guests. The garden is approximately 500 square meters with plenty of mature trees for shade. There is a secure parking area for up to three cars. Garden furniture and BBQ for dining are available as well as sun loungers for sun bathing. The house has electric heating for the cooler months and air conditioning for the summer. Cot, and baby equipment provided including linen. Three adult bikes available for your use. Sandy beaches are about 15 minute drive, small shops and services are available in the neighbouring villages of Montblanc or St Thibery about 5 mins drive. Pezenas is approximately 10 mins drive.

The Village: St Thibery

Picturesque village with a lovely old roman bridge within fifteen minutes drive of the coast. The village has a grocery, cafe, bakery and supermarket along with other shops and services.  Further shops and restaurants are available in the historic town of Pezenas where there is also a very good Saturday market.

The fishing ports of Meze, Marseillan and Bouziques are all close by where you have a wide range of sea food restaurants including oysters for which the region is famed.

The St Thomas Golf Course is close by also the wellknown course at Cap D'Agde. Cap D'Agde also has Aqua Land, a water park popular with both young and old.

During the summer months a popular Jazz festival is held in the village along with traditional  fetes and markets.
